We Specialize In:

Whole Health & Wellness

No gimmicks or fads. Having a Registered Dietitian on your team can help you take your self-care to the next level— whether you’re focused on metabolic health for disease prevention or if you’re managing a chronic condition.

Intuitive Eating Counseling

It’s more than hunger and fullness cues… We’ll guide you in building a truly peaceful relationship with food while caring for your whole health. You can trust that our support is always anti-diet and weight-inclusive.

Disordered Eating & Eating Disorders

Frequently Asked Questions

  • This is your first chance to chat with your new dietitian and bring them up to speed on what’s going on. Your dietitian will also have plenty of questions for you to make sure they understand your health and food history. All of our sessions are conversations (like therapy) and we provide guidance, support, and recommendations. We do not prescribe supplements or third-party testing products.

  • Our counseling style is very individualized, so no two clients have sessions that are exactly the same. The first session has a lot of “getting to know you” time. Other topics covered differ based on your needs and wants, but topics frequently covered in-session include: balanced and realistic nutrition guidance, your past and present relationship with food, intuitive eating principles and exercises, goal and intention setting, body image work (if a client wants support in this area) and many more.

  • Yes! We accept insurance. We are currently in-network with the following plans: Aetna, Always Health Partners, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Harvard Pilgrim, Medicare, Unicare/GIC, United Healthcare, and Tufts (Commercial Plans).

  • Definitely! Just call the member services number on your health insurance card and ask a representative if your plan has coverage for nutrition counseling with a Registered Dietitian. Be sure to ask if you have a co-pay or deductible that would apply so there are no surprises.

  • That’s really up to you. Once your dietitian gets to know you they can make a recommendation about the frequency of sessions they feel would be the most beneficial for you. We never pressure anyone into having sessions if they’re not feeling it. Some clients are just looking for some short-term guidance while others benefit from a long-term relationship with a trusted dietitian.

  • We schedule 50 minutes for each session and that time is all yours.

  • Sure! If you don’t want us to send a claim to your insurance plan or we are not in-network with your insurance you can pay privately. We can provide a “superbill” so you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement if desired. Our rate is $150 per session. This is on the lower end within our industry as we are always trying to balance our client’s financial concerns with our own practice demands. We can offer a 10% discount when six or more sessions are purchased in advance (these payments are non-refundable).

  • Yup!

  • Absolutely! When necessary (or if desired by you), we’ll happily connect with your therapist, primary care physician, or other specialists. This interdisciplinary communication can be good for everyone involved, including you.

  • We do. We ask for advanced notice of two business days if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. The fee for a late cancellation is $50. The advanced notice gives us a full day to communicate with others to offer them your session slot. We don’t charge the fee if you have a true emergency.
